Description of Treatment
Thorough Inspection
by brushing and combing and examining of coat and skin. Here will be ascertained which type of treatment (shampoo, conditioner, special therapy or upon request colour or tint) are best suitable for your dog. An examination for warts or other abnormalities will also be carried out and, if need be, ticks and small areas of matted fur will be profesionally removed.
Bathing
follows basically with luke warm water and with a shampoo and conditioner individually chosen for your dog. Immediately afterwards, your dog will be rubbed down and dried with warm air (depending on breed, under continuous brushing).
Clipping
Clipping
by hand (with scissors)
will follow and will be professionally carried out in a
way best suited for your breed of dog and taking your
wishes into consideration.
All modern trends from France, Italy and USA can be realized.
Hand Stripping for Terriers
Certainly that suitable terriers breeds will be stripped by hand for that their typical hard kind of coat will be conserved.
Claws and Ears
will be looked at and when necessary attended to. Paws will be treated with a special wax to protect against salt and frost in winter.
Hygiene/Cleanliness
Only freshly-washed hand-towels will be used (not previously used dried towels) and every object which your dog comes into contact with was previously cleaned and disinfected with Sagrotan. The floors are, of course, cleaned regularly with disinfectant.
Grooming Products / Tools
We
use only the best for your pet - the line from PetSilk™ (USA) on natural basis.
Only first-class professional tools of well known brands
will be used.
Closing Remark
Your animal will be treated at all times with care and cautiousness and depending on breed, size and the luxury your dog will receive, I will need approximately 2 - 4 hours. It is recommended to take your dog for a short walk before leaving it with me.
